Mentoring

The mentoring program connects a mentor to a child for a minimum of one day per month. During this time the child has the opportunity to attend various cultural, educational and sports events as well as go to the library, Tom Ridge Center, Asbury Woods, the zoo or any other activity that would be of interest for the child. The great value of mentoring is the relationship that emerges between the mentor and the child. Trusting another adult in their lives, building up their self esteem, learning their likes and dislikes, and doing better in school are just a few of the benefits for the child begin mentored.
