Tutoring

Tutoring is offered to children in reading. A teacher works with an individual student to assess the needs of the child and follows through with an individualized program one hour per week.

When the child reaches a certain level of performance in reading, a certificate is received and the child graduates from the program!

Reading is taught Monday through Thursday. The various volunteer teachers come in everyday to help their child advance in reading. We’ve had many great outcomes from the additional tutoring. an example:
